We are providers of “FREE” CREMATION and are well versed in the process.
For those wanting a cost-free solution or simply wanting to contribute to science, we offer “FREE” cremation. Physicians, researchers, and educators are reliant on generous donors to conduct the most realistic research possible. The body is then cremated and the cremated remains are returned to the family.
Through our partnership with a nationally accredited donation program for medical research and education, we are pleased to be able to provide families the option of FREE Cremation .
Upon acceptance, Cremation is FREE and includes:
- Transportation from the place of death by Atlantic Mortuary & Cremation Service
- Filing of the Death Certificate
- Return of cremated remains in approximately 3-5 weeks
This research program contributes to new breakthroughs in medicine, including advance physicians training and development of new medical devices. Each advancement provides hope for a healthier future and enhances the generous requests of their donors There is a significant need within the research, education, and technology industries for anatomical specimens . Anatomical donation helps to meet this need.
To qualify, there should be no communicable or contagious diseases such as AIDS, HIV, tuberculosis, and, in most cases, hepatitis B and C (depending on current studies being conducted). Those who are morbidly obese or very emaciated might not qualify.
- Cancer and most other debilitating diseases do not disqualify a donor.
- Those who are on hospice may in most cases pre-register for this program.
- We have been able to place more than 97% of our applicants into studies.
Please don't hesitate to talk with us about these programs. Your generous gift may make a life-altering difference to someone's life in the future.
