James Stephen Green Jr. “Steve”, 49, current resident of Reidsville, GA, but lifelong resident of Cocoa, FL, passed away on February 4, 2020 at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, FL.
Born on November 17, 1970, in Rockledge, Florida, he was the son of Kathryn Green and the late James Stephen Green Sr.
In his early years Steve worked as fence installer for his family’s fence company. He was a talented freelance artist of multiple magnitudes, a creative cook as well, and he enjoyed life to the fullest. He was affectionately known by several nicknames including “Stevie”, “Srgt. Spunt”, etc.
Steve is survived by his spouse Allison, his children Sean, Miranda and Tanner, mother Kathryn Green, stepfather Alan Harrell, sister Jolene Moss (Dean), brother Eric Green (Janet), sister Julie Wilkerson (Jasten), granddaughter Hayden, uncle Mike Green, several cousins, nieces, nephews, and an army of friends he loved as family; all who loved him dearly. In addition, he was predeceased by his father Steve as well as his brother Adam.
A celebration of life will be held in his memory on Saturday, February 15th from 10am-2pm at F. Burton Smith Regional Park, 7575 W. King St., Cocoa, FL 32926.
