Patsy Beatrice Nordby, age 89, passed away peacefully April 8th, 2020 in William Child Hospice House, Palm Bay, FL. She was born March 20, 1931 in Breman, Maine daughter of the late Iris and Lars Nordby.
Pat was an incredibly talented artist who did one of a kind lifelike portrait dolls. She was a passionate doll collector and a lifetime member of the National Institute of American Doll Artists and the United Federation of Doll Clubs. Pat was respected by her peers, helped with many of Federation’s publications, and won awards for her beautiful dolls at their annual conventions. Collecting and creating Doll’s remained one of her passions throughout her lifetime.
Patsy is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Nora and Lars Hochlin; her two daughters Linda Schaner and Marcia DeZarate; grandchildren, G.C. (Jennifer) Schaner, Brett (Shelly) Schaner , Clint Robinson, Kirt Robinson , and Melissa DeZarate; plus 7 great grandchildren, Bryce Schaner; Brayden, Haylee, Lucas, A.J., McKenna, and Mia Robinson; and her many nephews and nieces. All of whom she loved and touched deeply.
She is preceded in death by Phillip Robinson her beloved son and Elsie and Jere Sears her beloved sister and brother-in-law.
A celebration of her life will happen at a later date.
